The AMRC are committed to sustainability forming part of our strategy. Whilst data can be useful for measuring and improving the sustainability of organisations it must be recognised that data and analysis also have some environmental costs that must not outweigh the benefit.
Furthermore, use of the data-centric manufacturing workflow aims to ensure that only the necessary data is collected and stored and the computational needs of the analysis are considered when choosing the best analysis method.
Producing carbon calculators for manufacturing processes
Assessing the CO2-equivalent value of data
Manufacturing lifecycle analysis
Disassembly and recycling of products, including batteries
Digital passports to support circularity.
