The purpose of this calculator is to quickly calculate the bismuth content of a bulk GaAsBi sample from its photoluminescence emission wavelength. This calculator uses the modified valence band anti-crossing model proposed by Mohmad et al, in which the conduction band offset relative to GaAs is linearly interpolated between the values of GaAs and GaBi.
