Structure: Sugarcrete

WHAT IS IT?

Sugarcane fibres / bagasse (a waste product of the sugar industry) is collected and combined with sand-mineral binders to produce Sugarcrete. 

"Sugarcrete is a low-carbon alternative to bricks and concrete blockwork, developed by the University of East London."

This material is still under research and development.
