In your new 2025/26 Ultra module, select the + Add content icon where you want your copied content to go
Tip: Don't worry, you can drag and reposition this later
From the dropdown menu, select Copy Content
Once the Copy Items window opens:
Select the Courses tab at the top
Use the text box to search for the name of the Ultra module you want to copy from
Select the module name to open its content list
⚠️ Be careful not to tick the checkbox next to the course name unless you want to copy everything from that module ⚠️
Once you’ve selected the module, you’ll see a directory of folders from that course
Most of your core materials will be inside the Content folder. This is where you’ll typically find:
Module Information
Learning Materials
Assessment & Feedback
Browse through the course structure until you locate the specific item(s) you want to copy
You can select individual folders, documents, assessments or other content
Tick the checkbox next to each item you want to copy
A green tick will appear to confirm your selection on the left
Your selected item(s) will appear in the panel on the right
You can always remove any item by selecting the X icon next to it
Once you're happy with your selection, select the 'Start Copy' button
The time it takes will depend on how much content you're copying, but it usually doesn't take long
You'll see a message at the bottom of your screen while the copy is in progress
By default, newly copied content is 'Hidden from students'. To change this:
Select the visibility dropdown just below each item's title
Choose 'Visible to students' or apply 'Release conditions' if you want it to appear at a specific time
Always create new submission points each academic year. This applies to institutional tools such as:
Turnitin
Crowdmark
PebblePad
Kaltura video quizzes
Reusing old submission points can cause technical issues for students and interfere with tracking or marking.
Copied content might carry over outdated deadlines and availability settings. Always review and update where needed.
Make sure all links, embedded files and documents open correctly in your new module.
Use this as a chance to tidy up. Remove duplicates, irrelevant or outdated content before your students see it.
