Class Collaborate is a browser-based virtual classroom and communication tool integrated with Blackboard, enabling the University to deliver and record taught sessions and other online activities.
Please note that Class Collaborate recordings are not stored permanently. They are retained for a period of three full academic years before being deleted.
In alignment with the University’s Taught Session Recording Policy, recordings from the academic year 2020/21 and earlier will be deleted in May 2025. If you need to retain any of these recordings, please ensure they are saved by Friday, 9 May 2025.
Subsequent recording deletions will follow this schedule:
Recordings from 2021/22 will be deleted at the start of the academic year 2025/26
Recordings from 2022/23 will be deleted at the start of the academic year 2026/27
Please ensure that any important recordings are saved before their scheduled deletion.

The conference will provide opportunities for all staff and students involved in teaching to showcase good practice, network and engage with University education senior leaders and colleagues from the wider sector.
The theme of this year’s conference is:
Education through the eyes of our learners: delivering a student-centred curriculum.
The call for submissions for the 2025 Education Conference is now open.
We are looking for contributions relating to the theme of this year’s conference, specifically within any of the ten areas outlined on the webpage.

Submissions will close on Friday 10 January 2025.
The Turnitin Paper Lookup Tool allows staff members to find and download submissions to previous Turnitin assignments. Departments/schools can use this to fulfil accreditation requests and when students request copies of old work, such as for applications for further study or employment.
The Lookup Tool can be used to access submissions for students who have graduated and no longer show in the Assignment Inbox. It can also be used to access submissions made to the old version of Turnitin. Copies of the original file, Similarity Report and Grading Report can be downloaded.
The Tool will allow you access all submissions made to Turnitin assignments on all Blackboard courses you are enrolled on. The Tool is available on all Blackboard courses; the same list of submissions will display regardless of which course or version of Blackboard (Original or Ultra) you use the Lookup Tool on.
