The Sheffield College Careers Team

The Careers Team are here to help you at any stage of your college career journey. We provide expert, impartial and unbiased careers information, advice and guidance which means we can talk to you about all of the progression pathways open to you, both within the college and outside of it. This can include employment, training/apprenticeships, education (including HE / Uni) and volunteering. We can support you through decision making and into the right career for you.

We support students and apprentices through face-to-face on campus sessions, face-to-face online sessions and workshops and through a wide range of self guided independent study resources through the SHAPE Your Future programme.

The College Careers Team is committed to helping you to gain the skills and experiences you need to go further in your career.

There are a wide range of events, workshops and talks taking place over the year for you to get involved in and meet employers, universities and training providers as well as gaining skills and experience along the way.

We have qualified and experienced Careers IAG Advisers working across the college and dedicated careers rooms at the four main campuses. At the City and Hillsborough campuses these rooms are in Student Central. Ask at reception on your campus for directions to the careers room if you need them. Personal careers guidance support -

All students and apprentices can get expert and impartial careers advice from one of the college's Careers IAG Advisers. You can have a 45 minute personal careers appointment remotely (by telephone or video call) or in the Careers Room at your campus. You can also have a shorter appointment if you prefer and can contact the team by email at CEIAG@sheffcol.ac.uk or follow us on Twitter @SheffcolCareers
