Midwest and Plains Equity Assistance Center Presentation

During this professional learning session, South Harrison Community School staff and administration will engage in collaborative learning on safe and inclusive schooling practices. This shared learning guided by The Midwest and Plains Equity Assistance Center will provide opportunities for participants to:

• Examine and discuss current legislation regarding bullying, intimidation, and harassment.
• Engage in reflection upon how education systems contribute to safe and inclusive conditions of a school.
• Learn real-world applications of conflict mediation as they practice intervening in situations where bullying, intimidation, harassment, and exclusionary practices occur among students.
