YEAR 11 Mathematics
Aim 
This course is intended for students who have consistently worked at basic level at least in Year 10. Students taking this course should be confident of achieving the 10 required credits for Numeracy from the listed standards. This course leads into all three Level 2 Mathematics Courses.
Course content 
- Solving problems involving number skills in context 
- Exploring relationships between tables, equations and graphs 
- Applying algebraic procedures 
- Solving problems involving probability methods 
- Statistical analysis of bivariate, multivariate, and time series data 
Assessment 
In class assessments, school examinations and Numeracy Standards.
