Rev. Dr. Prasant Palackappillil CMI, former Principal of Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Thevara is embarking on a pan-India expedition to discover TRUST, GREEN and PEACE on the roads of India. The epic journey will start from his home town of Kochi, Kerala, cover more than ten-thousand kilometers winding up the East Coast of India, across the northern plains to the Kashmir Valley and down the West Coast back to Kochi.

Father Prasant will be travelling as a Green Ambassador for the Rotary Club of Downtown Cochin, and JSW Cement.

Dear Friends,

I would like to share the good news with you that I have tested negative (antigen) on last 13th (July). But the new COVID situation demanded much more, and I was a bit tensed. I had decided to have myself tested in advance lest we plan and be forced to postpone it again. Thank God! Today, the RTPCR test was done and I was found to be COVID Negative!! (May that be the one thing negative about me and you!!)

In the light of this, I am planning to hit the road on 9th evening or 10th morning. Approximate Route etc. to be finalized tomorrow. Requesting your whole-hearted support.

July 2021:
Fr. Prasant is back to his hale and hearty self, having bested COVID-19!

He's now in the process of limbering up for the expedition once again. Here's what Father had to say about the misty hills at Munnar which he visited recently.

05th July 2021: On the eve of his journey Fr. Prasant developed mild fever and associated symptoms. On testing, he was found positive for COVID-19. Accordingly, Fr. Prasant has postponed the Trust-Green-Peace till he recuperates from the illness.

We wish him a speedy recovery!
