All homework must be completed in pencil, blue ink, or black ink. No other colors unless approved by the teacher.
All homework is due at the beginning of class unless stated otherwise by the teacher.
Misplaced or incomplete homework will be considered late.
Absent students have 1 day for each day absent to make up the work.
Late Assignments
Result is a 20% grade reduction each day it is late. After five days, a zero will be recorded in the gradebook.
In addition, each assignment that is incomplete or late will result in a deduction in Scholar Dollars. (See the “Scholar Dollars” tab for more information)
MATH EXPECTATIONS
Students will ALWAYS put forth their best effort in every lesson, assignment, and activity.
Students will be willing to accept help and listen to the teacher and other students for guidance when needed.
Students will use the examples and notes provided in class to assist them in their application of concepts.
Students will ask questions when they are stuck, but they will not say, “I don’t get it” because that is not helpful to anyone.
Students will show ALL work when completing math assignments. This allows the teacher to see the student's process to identify mistakes. Each math problem will be worth at least two points. One of those points will be for showing their work. Therefore, not showing their work WILL result in a grade reduction!
