Hello! I am excited to be starting another year at Shawnee! This year will look a little different for former Shawnee students–we will be fully self-contained.  They will be in here for Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies.  

Parent and teacher communication is very important to me. Email is always a good option to reach me, but this year, I am planning to use the Class Dojo app.  I know not everyone checks their email, and my goal is to be able to reach every parent.   Through this app, Not only can we use the app to communicate, but it will allow you to check in on your child’s behavior at school (more info on that later).   A paper is attached to this flipbook that will explain how you can join.  In addition, I send out a weekly newsletter every Sunday that will give you a glimpse into our past week and what the next week will include.  This newsletter will also have important dates and upcoming events.  It’s very important that you read this newsletter to keep up-to-date. I hope you will feel comfortable messaging, emailing, or calling me if you have any problems, concerns, or suggestions.
