Reminders & News:
Is your district's Spring Testing underway?
It's important to regularly upload enrollment and SpEd files during this time to capture new enrollments, exits, and accomodations. This ensures every student is available in the testing system (TOMS).
NEW to this EOY:
LEAP file (Updated May 15) - Starting this EOY, districts that receive certain funding for Expanded Learning Programs (ELPs) are required to report data for all students in before, after, or summer school. If this isn't reported for expected districts, CERT177 error will prevent certification until it's posted. This reference is reguarly updated with more information. Check with your district's CBO to verify ELP funding type and collaborate with the appropriate staff to ensure information is collected and reported during EOY 1, if applicable.
Attendance Recovery - Reporting Attendance Recovery (AR) is optional, but each day of AR must be reported in the STAS file for EOY 1 for districts that offer this for students. See Flash #305 for more information.
Two EOY Certifications Required - Both EOY 1 and EOY 2 must be LEA Approved/Certified, even if your district only has grades TK-8. (And EOY 1 requires SELPA Certification.) This planning template can help set goal dates and ensure the right people are involved in the EOY process. Note: EOY 2 is primarily for grades 9-12. Districts with 7-8th grade departmentalized courses may submit completion data, but it's optional.
