If you suspect giftedness in your child, first, have a conversation with your child's teacher. Is he or she observing some of the same things at school?
In order to determine eligibility for gifted services, a student must be evaluated by one of our school psychologists. You are able to request an evaluation through your child's school counselor, who can get the process started for you.

The mission of the Wilson Gifted Education Network is to provide an organization for parents, children, educators and community members who share an interest in supporting the diverse needs of mentally gifted children in the Wilson School District.
We support the education, growth and overall development of mentally gifted children by facilitating opportunities for education, advocacy and enrichment of these children and their support network.
Wilson Gifted Education Network is an affiliate of the Pennsylvania Association of Gifted Education.
The Pennsylvania Association for Gifted Education is a non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to helping gifted learners, parents, and educators.
