Meet the Music Teachers
Wilson Southern Middle School is home to 3 specializations within the Music Department: String Orchestra, Choral Music and Concert Band. In addition to these in-school ensembles, there are also opportunities for enrichment in Sinfonietta, Select Chorus and Jazz Band as well as the Spring Musical.
All Southern Music Students will have the opportunity to experience a semester of General Music, primarily taught by the Choral teacher, in 6th grade, with selections available in 7th and 8th grade.

Music students also have opportunities to attend Broadway productions, both locally and in New York City. Ensembles participate in spring adjudication and a trip to Hershey Park. School concerts are held at least twice a year, in our auditorium. We're so glad you're here!
