String Fest Nominees
Students selected demonstrate responsibility, commitment, and musical skills needed to prepare for this one-day festival event.
MEBC 6th Grade Strings is a select orchestra group of approximately 100+ musicians nominated by each orchestra director and then chosen to accommodate the instrumentation needed to fill the ensemble. The schools participating in the festival are from across Berks County.
Accepted students will be notified by December 1st.
Festival Participation
Students participating in this event are expected to learn the music provided before the day of the festival. Should your child be chosen to participate they will be expected to be at the host school between 8:30-8:45 AM to register and rehearsal will begin promptly at 9:00am.
Students will need to bring their instrument, music, and pack a completely disposable lunch.
Limited seating is available for this free concert, beginning at 3:00pm.
