Where Can I purchase Tickets?
You can purchase tickets by going to the links on the commencement and banquet page on shepgrad.ca .
These are separate events and require separate ticket purchases.
What do I need to purchase tickets?
Tickets for graduates are available if they are on the school grad list. You can contact your child’s assistant principal to see if they are on the list or what they require to be on the list.
To purchase a grad package and choose a gown size you will be required to enter your child’s student ID in the promo code section when purchasing tickets.
Is there a limit on the number of tickets I can buy?
Each student can only purchase one grad package using their student ID as a promo code.
Family members and guests may purchase as many tickets as they like.
Seating is general admission. It is recommended to come early to secure seats.
When can I pick up my child’s gown package?
Gowns and V-Stole will be available for pickup in hall C at the Edmonton Expo Center on June 5th.
Gowns can be picked up starting at 4:00 pm and are required to be returned at the end of the evening.
The Cap, Tassel, and year charm are yours to keep!
Can I get my Gown Early?
Gown Pickup is at 4:00 pm on the day of the event June 5th. Unfortunately, gowns cannot be picked up before that time.
Can I bring my child?
Children who do not require a seat are free to come and do not require a ticket.
If the child requires a seat they will require a ticket.
When will ticket sales begin and end?
Tickets will go on sale March 1st.
Ticket sales for Graduates will end on May 11th. This is required so that we can order the gowns for the ceremony.
Family and Guest tickets can be purchased until June 2nd.
General Admission Tickets will be available at the door
Can I fundraise to lower my ticket cost for both the banquet and commencement?
Yes. You can visit shepgrad.ca for information on what fundraisers are currently running and find information on how to get involved.
Fundraisers will only be available in March and April.
What time will each event start and how long will they run for?
Commencement, on June 5th, will start at 6:00 p.m. and usually takes about 2-2.5 hours.
Banquet starts at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 11:30 p.m.
Will there be opportunities for photographs before each event?
Once you pick up your gown you are free to take pictures. The expo grounds have some nice areas where you can take pictures.
On the day of the banquet, the grad council will set up and announce a time when our photographer will be present to take pictures of graduates in their suits and dresses. This typically takes place at the Legislature or old Museum grounds. Stay tuned for details.
