The first step to become a Mentor for Brevard Public Schools is
to sign up as a volunteer and complete fingerprinting/background check.
After you complete your application AND fingerprinting, please email your name and date you were fingerprinted by Brevard Public Schools in District Security to: poole.hilary@brevardschools.org
Fingerprints/background checks can take up to 4 weeks.
After your volunteer application is approved, you will want to find a school.
You may choose to volunteer at a school near your home or perhaps a school
near work would be more convenient. In the window below,
type in an address and you will find the schools closest to that location.
Once you find a school, call the front office
and ask for the School Mentor Coordinator.
That person will be your main point of contact throughout your Mentoring.
Before meeting your mentee for the first time, please view the Mentor Training Modules on this site. Complete the Google Form once you have viewed each module.
