Australia Study Tour
In 2018, 20 students and 2 English teachers set off for a 2-week study tour at the Hills International College in Brisbane, Australia. Students had different kinds of learning activities both in and out of the campus, from classroom to nature, from canteen to kitchen, from playing golf to shopping. They were fascinating.

'In this study tour, we had lots of new experiences. We had a lesson on Aborigines’ history and culture. We learnt about different kinds of animals that the Aborigines hunt in the old days. They used different symbols to create paintings on walls which would not fade across time. We were given a chance to try Aboriginal paintings on boomerangs. What’s more, a group of Aborigines came to teach us how to dance and play boomerangs like what the Aborigines did. It was great fun. '
'We had terrific time on the Superman Escape, Batwing Spaceshot, Arkham Asylum Coaster and Doomsday Destroyer! Most interesting of all, 12 of us had an exciting Bumper Cars experience at the Intencity Dodgems. We had lots of fun driving and bumping. We also went to many other different places to explore the city. We visited the University of Queensland, the Surfers Paradise, the Brisbane City Centre, the Southbank and the Queen Street Mall. We knew more about the city life and had some time to buy souvenirs. '
