BrainPOP Educators

BrainPOP Educators offers lesson plans and creative ideas, classroom aids, support videos, and connections to academic standards and assessment tools. Search NYS and Common Core learning standards within the BrainPOP site to locate aligned resources. Contact Miss Moretti for the Educator Code to create a My BrainPOP account.

Gale eBooks Professional Collection is provided by Capital Region BOCES and includes 52 professional books related to education.

Breakout EDU Subject Packs - In Breakout EDU games, players work collaboratively to solve a series of critical thinking puzzles in order to open a locked box. Each Breakout EDU kit can be used to play hundreds of games. The Sacandaga Library has a Breakout EDU kit that can be borrowed.

Epic! is a digital library with thousands of well-known fiction and nonfiction books, learning videos, quizzes, read-aloud stories, and stories in several other languages. Create a free educator account to access books. 

Indianapolis Public Library Video Read-Alouds is a collection of 100+ videos of famous books being read aloud by authors, actors, and more. The videos are collected from a variety of outside sites. 

International Children's Digital Library

The International Children's Digital Library (ICDL) is a research project to create a digital library of outstanding children's books from all over the world. The collection's focus is on identifying materials that help children to understand the world around them and the global society in which they live. The materials in the collection, all presented in the original languages in which they were published, reflect similarities and differences in cultures, societies, interests, and lifestyles of peoples around the world. 

Library of Congress
