In addition to applying to college and planning for your education/life after high school, students in Senior Seminar also participate in Early College. This program provides the opportunity to take a college course through City College of San Francisco (CCSF) while you are still in high school and earn credits that could count toward your high school graduation or your future college degree. The Early College program is a partnership between SFUSD and CCSF, and it is slightly different from “Dual Enrollment” courses you may have taken.
Early College (AB288) classes are taught by CCSF instructors, but they are opened specifically for seniors in SFUSD and may be taught on Marshall’s campus or at a CCSF campus. In the past, our students have taken CCSF courses in Auto Mechanics, Administration of Justice, Psychology, Child Development, and Film Studies.
