Strategic Inquiry Inc, introduced and provided SFUSD teachers with professional development around Writing is Thinking through Strategic Inquiry (WITsi), a writing program based on The Writing Revolution. WITsi strategies provide students the critical language skills needed to express their complex analytical thinking, regardless of grade level or subject area. 

ElevatED Learning provides professional development workshops, coaching, and curricular support in which teachers gain new knowledge, skills, and tools necessary for designing and implementing rigorous, collaborative and scaffolded curricula for Multilingual Learners. 

International Network of Public Schools designs, develops, and supports schools and programs for recently-arrived immigrants and refugees through professional developement workshops, coaching, conferences, institutes and other offerings designed to support multilingual learners. 

CORE provides SFUSD teachers with trainings and professional development in the area of foundational literacy instruction for adolescent newcomer multilingual learners.

Imagine Language & Literacy uses engaging, interactive games, books, songs, and videos to teach language and literacy concepts like letters and sounds, rhyming, vocabulary, spelling, reading comprehension skills, and more. Schools with more than 10+ newcomers are participants in this program.
