What is Aim High?
Aim High is a no-cost, in-person summer learning program for 5th-8th grade students. Over the course of five weeks, the program will keep students actively, joyfully learning, and building connections to their classmates and teachers all summer long.
Aim High provides a mix of project-based academics, social-emotional learning, outdoor activities, exciting field trips, and community-building activities. Aim High has kept teacher-to-student ratios low to foster relationship building and ensure every student receives the support they need.
What is MYEEP?
Mayor's Youth Employment and Education Program (MYEEP) provides San Francisco youth with paid work opportunities, academic support, and tools they’ll need to succeed in the workplace. MYEEP also gives youth a chance to build relationships with other members of their neighborhood communities.
Through workshops and trainings, academic support, and more, MYEEP offers students unique opportunities to build skills and confidence that prepare them for life after high school.
What is GIRLFLY?
GIRLFLY is a summer arts and activism program that will bring together 20 young women/Gender Non-Conforming (GNC) youth (ages 14-19) from San Francisco. Over the course of four weeks, participants will get:

and more!
What is Summerbridge
Each year we accept 36 sixth-graders from public and parochial middle schools in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our students represent the diversity of the Bay Area and have had a range of academic preparation. In general, Breakthrough Summerbridge students:
are self-directed and motivated
have a goal of attending college
demonstrate academic promise
have a firm commitment to learning and value education
have a compelling economic need for a tuition free program
While Breakthrough Summerbridge students each come to the program with different needs, our goal is that all students leave with the academic skills that will prepare them for successful experiences at rigorous college-preparatory high school programs.
Required Family Commitment:
THREE consecutive six-week summer sessions. Daily attendance is mandatory.
Student attends After-School Enrichment (ASE) program. Weekly attendance is mandatory.
High school placement program for eighth-grade students and families.
Breakthrough Summerbridge Family Association meetings for parents and guardians take place about four times per year; attendance is mandatory.
