Hello everyone! I am Mr. Stewart, and this will be my 2nd year of teaching. This year, I will teach 8th grade math, and AVID Excel. Before Denman, I was a college student at Alabama State University. I graduated from Alabama State University in Montgomery, AL with my bachelor's degree with a major in Mathematics Education. I'm so excited to teach middle school at Denman and to get to know about you, your hopes and your dreams.

I was born and raised in San Francisco, CA. I am a proud son of 2 parents also raised in SF. Which makes me a Second Generation San Franciscan. My mom is a building manager and my dad is a retired SFUSD Principal (Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy 2 years & Carver Elementary 5 years) and teacher (16 years). So despite my short time of gaining experience I have a lot to fall back on.

In my free time, I like to run, play soccer, read, go the gym, and play video games. I recently started learning how to roller skate which is really fun.
