Well hello everyone and welcome to my teacher page!

I've been teaching here at Denman for the past 7 years, and look forward to many years to come! In my time I have primarily taught 8th grade ELA, but have also had experience with 7th grade ELA and Social Science, as well as 5 years of AVID(I am also the AVID coordinator for Denman).

I earned my Bachelor's Degree and teaching credential at San Francisco State University, and quite honestly miss the rigor of college-level courses! When a teacher is available and effective, it makes all the difference in the learning experience.

I got into teaching initially because of how empowered some teachers made me feel at multiple points of my educational journey. I remember seeing teachers and being impressed by how much dedication they had for their students, and I myself aspire to do the same.

Though we are all congregating in a different way this year, I look forward to making the best of the situation, and doing everything I can to help all of my students thrive.
