At SF STEM Academy, we serve a cohort of up to 16 students from various backgrounds where we provide resources to improve their academics and personal development. This program supports our students with after school workshops that focus on college readiness and STEM interests. Additionally, we do once a month field trips, tutoring, and academic and wellness support. One of the best things about our program is that it is considered an internship, so students receive a monthly stipend for participating in the activities that we provide. The program runs from October to May, and once the school year is complete, we provide our students with a paid summer internship to continue their growth academically and professionally. This school year, we will be running our program virtually and through distance learning.
