Scholarship Opportunities for Frosh and Sophomore Golfers!

Evans Scholarship

More about this scholarship:

- 9th or 10th grade students who are interested in applying to the scholarship must first create a Caddie Profile. They are contacted by the Director of Recruitment and if they meet all criteria (listed below) they are invited to caddie for the program. 

The scholarship requirements are: 

• Strong caddie record (students don't need to know golf or have ever caddied before - see this testimonial from scholars)

• Excellent grades (B or above)

• Demonstrated financial need (household income below $400,000) 

• Show outstanding character

- Students who have completed all requirements get full tuition and housing costs covered to attend one of the 7 colleges that are the most likely choices for an SF based Evans's scholar: Northwestern, U-Chicago, Notre Dame, Arizona, Washington, Colorado, and Oregon.  

There are currently 1,200 Evans scholars throughout the US and they want to increase this number to 1,500.
