Concert Videos and Pictures

This last Saturday, there were six Ortiz Orchestra students who performed at the the North Central District Solo and Ensemble. They were all on time, dressed appropriately, and acted very professionally and I'm happy to say that they represented Ortiz very well!

Please help me congratulate the students listed below--you'll see their score beside their name. (1, superior is the highest and 4 is the lowest)

Isaac Mattia (6th Grade)--1 Superior

Valeria Torres (6th Grade)--2 Excellent

Justin Anderson (7th Grade)--1 Superior

Marissa Quezada and Natalia Lozoya (7th Grade, duet)--3 Good

Additionally, at the end of the entire event, each judge selects one student from all the students they had judged throughout the day. The student they select is 'best in room'--this student was the most prepared and played their piece the best out of all the other students they had seen that day.

One of our judges selected Claudia Lopez (6th Grader) as best in room and gave her a score of a 1 superior.
