Free of charge, Giants employees may use the Bike Valet room along the Portwalk (located under the right field foul pole) to safely secure your bike or kick scooter while at work, whether the Bike Valet service is open or closed.
Employees can use the lift-assist bike racks designated for employees located conveniently near the entry door. Be sure to lock your bike and ensure that the door closes securely behind you when you leave.
If you are leaving a scooter in the Bike Valet room, please try your best to store it out of the way of the wooden racks and keep all walkways clear to disrupt the Bike Valet operation.
Hours:
Opens: 2 hours before first pitch
Closes: 30 minutes after last out
If you arrive when Bike Valet staff are present, simply show the staff your Giants credential and they will let you enter the room.
When you arrive at Oracle Park:
Proceed to the 2nd & King security post and let the officer know you plan to park your bike in the Bike Valet room
Proceed to the Bike Valet room and call the Command Center (415-947-2911) when you reach the doors, and the Command Center will unlock the door remotely.
Use the two-level bike racks on the left as you enter the room, and please use the top row if possible to preserve the bottom row for the bike valet service. Be sure to lock your bike to the rack.
Check the door when you exit the room to ensure it has closed and latched.
If you depart after the Bike Valet has closed, simply proceed to the Bike Valet room, call the Command Center to be let in, retrieve your bike, and depart. Make sure to check the door as you exit to ensure that it has locked.
For the safety of others, please do not ride your scooter inside the ballpark.
Scooters and other compact mobility devices that meet the following criteria can be brought into office work areas within Oracle Park, as long as the work areas have personal desk spaces that allow for safe storage of the devices:
The device must be able to collapse to fit completely under an individual’s desk, such that the device does not impede on any walkways or circulation space within a given work area. General dimensions that would enable this: maximum collapsed height of 30”, maximum length of 48”.
The employee must be able to carry the device to the employee's desk - devices may not be rolled through office spaces given potential wear and tear on surfaces in circulation areas and the blanket prohibition on riding devices within the ballpark.
Examples of devices that generally meet this policy:
Skateboards and Longboards that are shorter than 48”
Hoverboards and Onewheels
Types of devices that would not meet this policy and should be stored/locked in employee bicycle parking areas (Bike Valet room or bicycle racks in the O’Doul Lot):
Non-folding bicycles of any kind (pedal or e-bikes)
Non-collapsible scooters of any kind (handlebars do not fold down to reduce the height to less than 30”)
Scooters, skateboards, and longboards longer than 48”
Scooters too heavy to be carried to an individual’s desk
Any other compact mobility devices that do not meet the dimensional or weight criteria above
