In this time of high anxiety over Covid 19, let's walk with confidence, trusting in our God. Should we exercise wisdom and follow the instructions of our health care workers and government officials? Absolutely. Should we believe the promises in the Bible that God will protect us, His children? Absolutely! So be at peace and think on a couple of beautiful passages from the Word of God. In both Psalm 121 and 91, we have the promise that God will give his angels charge over us to protect us. In John chapter 17, Jesus is praying for his disciples and all of us when he prays to the Father that "I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one."
Psalm 91: 3-7
Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the [a]fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
4
He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and [b]buckler.
5
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
7
A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
