Children's Liturgy of the Word 2025-2026 Schedule
Children's Liturgy of the Word is held Sundays during the
Holy Spirit 9:00am Mass
Holy Family 10:30am Mass
It is for children who have not yet made their First Communion
and can be away from their parents for 20 minutes.
Children's Liturgy of the Word is an extension of the Mass for children to hear God’s Word in a simpler language and is not intended as a babysitting service or recess. When everyone sits for the first reading, the children and their adult leader will be called forward and Father will send them forth to hear the Word of God proclaimed to them. They will depart to their learning space for
Children's Liturgy of the Word and return following the homily.
