I, Guhapriya Kamalanathan, resident of Livermore & a lifetime member of Tamil Manram

My passion towards Tamil and Tamil community:

• SFBATM Volunteer– Convener 2022

• Conducted a women's day event to Celebrate womanhood.

• Conducted a mother's day event and honored all the mothers from SFBATM.

• Teaching Tamil in California Tamil Academy since 2014

• Volunteered and performed the role of a master of ceremonies (emcee) in Chithirai Thiruvizha at Tamil Manram in 2021

• Volunteered in various community activities in Livermore, CA

• Had the privilege of participating as a judge in Thirukkural event from 2017

2022 Achievements:

• I had the privilege to execute the following events successfully in BATM

  • Pongal

  • Women’s day

  • Mother’s day – Chithirai Thiruvizha

  • Father’s day – Kodai Vizha

  • TN Assembly member reception

• Made a great relationship with the Consulate for member services for Emergency VISA, Renunciation, Passport, NRI Certificate and other needs.

2023 Goal:

• My aim is to serve the Tamil community and SFBATM.

• Expand the BATM Community.

• Work on Women empowerment.

• Yearly Budget that supports SFBATM growth.

• Every penny is weighed-in, People's money spent carefully.

• Work with VP-Admin to get Sponsors for various fund needs.
