Scouts are required to read the Merit Badge Pamphlet BEFORE coming to the class.
Consider utilizing the WORKSHEET to document your activities and information learned prior to clinic as they must be presented to the counselor in writing / Typing.

SUPPLIES Scouts need to bring with them:

Bring a chess board, if you have one.
A worksheet and something to write with
Completed Gateway - Participant’s Acceptance of Risks and Responsibility Agreement
BSA Health Form A/B
Blue card - signed by Scoutmaster on the front

Pre-requisites

Any requirement for "Discuss", prepare a written outline for discussion with a leader
Any Requirement with "Explain", prepare a written explanation/description for review with a leader
For requirement 6, class will do 6c part (1): Organize and run a chess tournament with at least four players, plus you.

Follow-up Homework:

Req 6c, part 2
Any of the pre-requisites that are not done before class.
Anything not completed in class due to attending late or leaving early.
