Full Day with Lunch Break
Notes for Success:
Scouts are required to read the Merit Badge Pamphlet BEFORE coming to the class.
Consider utilizing the WORKSHEET or a notebook to document your learning and information prior to the clinic as discussion question answers will be reviewed individually. Phone or tablets are OK. The letter may be separate, but should be typed.
Review and prepare prerequisites before the class
Citizenship In the Nation Merit Badge is very discussion/answer driven. There will be some time during the day to go online to review some material. We suggest using a notebook and make notes on answers for every question, so we can just review. The day will start with about a 1.5 hour general discussion. We expect to review 2 of 8 scouts at a time for about 1.5 hours per counselor. A scout that has no notes and does not know material will be asked to prepare before being reviewed. In a one day clinic setting we have some special completion request. If you have questions reach out to Randy following appropriate youth protection guidelines.
