I’m so sorry you’re having to walk through this, but your faith and the way you’re choosing to view this cross as an opportunity for spiritual growth is incredibly inspiring. I’m praying specifically for your complete healing and for the grace to trust in God’s plan, whatever that may look like. Know that you’re not walking through this alone. Trent has my contact information so please get in touch with me if I can be any help at all. Prayers to you and your family. God bless.    Matt

• Dear Dan, I was sad to know of your health condition, but was soon felt uplifted by seeing your good spirit with how you deal and pray about it. I strongly believe in redemptive suffering that I first came to know about through St. Thérèse of Lisieux. Paul talks about it that Christ has not suffered enough! (Col 1:24); to fill up what is lacking in Christ's suffering. So strange but it is an invitation to join Christ in his suffering and thus in his glory. I was glad to know that you have already joined yourself to the Crucifix, and that souls are being redeemed. I have been praying for you and your family during consecration at Mass. The saints are praying for each of us so we may run and finish the race! I know you will taste the healing power of God! May all prayers that is offered for you lift your soul to experience God's healing grace.    Fr. Sengole

• Matthew 12:18  "Here is my servant, whom I have chosen, my beloved, with whom my soul is well pleased.  I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles."  Thank you Dan for ...  Please know that my prayers for "healing" are with you today and for you in the days to follow.  And I humbly, patiently, and confidently await God's answer to heal you.  After all  He is the divine physician, the miracle worker, and the creator of our days ... it is what He does best!  God Bless you Dan,   Your Sister in Christ,   Vicky Roosa

• Dan, Tina, and family, please know that we are lifting you up in love and prayer, trusting in God's wisdom and mercy.  Your faith is inspiring.  Thank you for sharing this, and for so selflessly inviting all of us to grow spiritually with you during this time.  🙏    Jennifer Maurer

• Mr. Reichley and family, I would say how sorry I am to hear of your diagnosis but seeing how you are leading through this with faith, to be sorry doesn’t seem appropriate. Mr. Reichley, you have always been a living example of what it means to be Christ like. Your kindness and patience are unmatched and I deeply admire how humbly you carry these qualities. Mrs. Reichley is equally as Christ like and your children are all a direct reflection of you both. Your family has been in my prayers since I heard of the news and I will continue to pray for strength and healing for you. I will also pray for the strength to put my trust in God as you have done when faced with unfavorable circumstances. I have faith that you will see this through.    Anonymous

• Praying for healing of Dan and comfort for the entire Reichley family. Also wanted to share a prayer that has comforted our family during difficult times:

Be at peace.
Do not look forward in fear to the changes of life;
rather look to them with full hope as they arise.
God, whose very own you are, will deliver you from out of them.
He has kept you hitherto, and He will lead you safely through all things;
and when you cannot stand it, God will bury you in his arms.
Do not fear what may happen tomorrow;
the same everlasting Father who cares for you today
will take care of you then and every day.
He will either shield you from suffering, or give you unfailing strength to bear it.
Be at peace, and put aside all anxious thoughts and imagination. —Prayer of St. Francis de Sales                          The Chimenti Family

• Mr. Reichley, Please know I have been praying for you as my Rosary intention often.  In fact, unbeknownst to me, I was praying for you in St. Andrew’s Church in Richmond on September 14th with a group from St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish, not even knowing until a few days later after I checked the blog that special prayers were requested for that day’s chemo treatment!  I did not have a chance to get to know you and your family very well during the 2 1/2 years we attended Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton parish before we moved out of Richmond in 2021 but, providentially, I’ve been able to connect with your son Trent in the past year when he’s visited the Oratory down here in Franklin County for Mass. He is a credit to you and Tina, an inspiration to me, and surely a reflection of the faith you passed on to him.  Thank you for accepting this trial and suffering as a gift from God to be given back to Him for the salvation of souls and the renewal of Holy Mother Church.  I will continue to pray for healing and that you will persevere with faith, hope and charity no matter what happens. Trusting in the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary,  Brett Stewart
