Squadi is used throughout the season for a range of team and match-day tasks, and we know it can sometimes be tricky to work out exactly what you need to do — particularly if you're new to coaching or managing.
This page brings together the information SESFC Coaches and Managers are most likely to need throughout the season.
We've put together a step-by-step guide covering the most common Squadi tasks for Coaches and Managers.
Keep this guide handy throughout the season — you can always come back to it if you're unsure.
Depending on your team and competition, you may need to use Squadi to:
👥 Manage Team Officials
Check that your Coach, Manager and other approved team officials are correctly assigned to your team.
📋 Complete Team Sheets
Select your players and team officials and submit your team sheet before each match.
🔄 Check Player Eligibility
Make sure players appearing on your team sheet are registered and eligible to play for your team.
📊 Check Fixtures & Results
View upcoming games, venues, kick-off times and competition results.
🏆 Enter or Confirm Match Information
Some teams may be required to enter or confirm scores and other match information following a game.
We recommend Coaches and Managers get into the habit of checking Squadi before match day.
Make sure:
✓ Your fixture, venue and kick-off time are correct
✓ Your players are appearing in your team
✓ Your Coach and Manager are listed correctly
✓ Your team sheet is completed within the required timeframe
✓ Any player playing up or filling in is eligible to participate
If something doesn't look right, don't leave it until kick-off to ask for help.
If a player isn't appearing, a team official needs to be added, you believe someone has been assigned incorrectly, or you're unsure about a player's eligibility, please contact the SESFC Registrar or relevant Committee member.
Some Squadi changes can only be made by the club or Football Queensland, so please ask if you're unsure rather than trying to work around the issue.
There is a lot to learn when you first become a Coach or Manager, and nobody is expected to know every Squadi process straight away.
Use the guides, ask questions and reach out when you need help.
