About this Website

• Starting School Page: On this page, you can find details about the online platforms we are using during virtual school this year. You will also find a syllabus for each course that describes class policies, norms, and content.

• Math 7/8: On this page, you will find a google calendar for each period of Math 7/8. The calendar is linked to Google Classroom and will include assignment and assessment dates. You will also see the tentative Math 7/8 unit plan.

• Geometry: On this page, you will find a google calendar for each period of Geometry. The calendar is linked to Google Classroom and will include assignment and assessment dates. You will also see the tentative Geometry unit plan.

• Assessment: This page covers my assessment philosophy and a summary of the 4-point grading scale.

• Resources for families: This page has additional resources about supporting your student during virtual learning.

NOTE: We will not be using a physical workbook this year because we are using a variety of resources including the online, interactive Desmos curriculum, teacher-created resources adapted from Carnegie Learning, and others. All resources are rigorous and common-core aligned. The Geometry curriculum is aligned with Fremont High School's Geometry curriculum.
