Assessment

We work with students throughout the year to achieve mastery on concepts even after a unit is over. We understand that ALL learning doesn't happen in the few weeks that we focus on a specific topic. Your student will have many opportunities to demonstrate mastery and understanding. Grades are meant to reflect a student's current level of understanding, which is why retakes are allowed and completely replace a previous grade (examining mistakes is also a crucial part of the learning process).
