Students will explore and discuss important news stories from around the world and their local community. Through reading, research, and discussion, they’ll build critical thinking skills and learn how current events connect to their own lives. 

We will exemplify the Sequoyah Core Values and Vision with an additional emphasis on safety.

Students will be graded on daily participation and their journal.
