The development of our 5-acre student farm is a transformative step forward for the Sequoia Union Elementary Agriculture Program, and we need community partners to help bring it to life.
Agriculture is built on growth, and growth takes time. Crops need time to mature, infrastructure needs to be built, and programs need time to become established. The sooner we build, plant, and develop this space, the sooner our students can begin experiencing everything it has to offer.
Work on the farm is already underway, but there is still so much to build. Sponsorship allows us to keep that momentum going and turn these five acres into a thriving, hands-on agricultural learning environment for our students.
While development of the 5-acre student farm is a major initiative, sponsorship supports the Sequoia Union Elementary Agriculture Program as a whole, including:
Classroom-based agricultural education
Hands-on projects and outdoor learning
Leadership and student development
School-wide agricultural activities and events
The Ag Reads literacy initiative
Development of the 5-acre student farm
Sponsorship helps provide the infrastructure, irrigation, fencing, planting materials, livestock resources, outdoor learning spaces, educational materials, and programming needed to continue growing agricultural education at Sequoia Union Elementary.
Every contribution helps us create more opportunities for students to learn, grow, and experience agriculture firsthand.
All sponsorships and charitable contributions supporting the Sequoia Union Elementary Agriculture Program are received through the Sequoia Union Elementary Agriculture Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Both financial and approved in-kind contributions are welcomed. Contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
We welcome both financial sponsorship and in-kind contributions. We invite local businesses and community partners to join us in building something that will impact students for generations.
