The Purple Patriot Award is an annual award instituted to honor both individuals and organizations who have demonstrated outstanding service or provided a significant benefit directly to Sequoia High School.

Welcome to the Sequoia Science Olympiad Website!

Science Olympiad is the largest academic organization at Sequoia High School for students to develop collaboration, communication, and leadership skills. Science Olympiad is a progressive team-based STEM competition. With 76 students, 5 Stanford coaches, 2 teacher advisors, and 3 competition teams, Christopher Kwok and Nicholas Kwok founded Sequoia Science Olympiad in 2020 for students who have a passion for science or those who want to join a fun community!

Regular Meetings: Mondays at Lunch (12:10 pm to 12:50 pm)

Optional Meetings: Thursdays After School (4:00 pm to 5:00 pm)

Science Olympiad is an American competition in which students compete in 23 events regarding biology, chemistry, physics, coding, and engineering. SciOly participants have the opportunity to explore their passion for STEM and learn about the science fields they are most interested in. The community is an excellent way to introduce students to STEM careers and connect students from all backgrounds.
