Description: Project Amity is a mental health awareness website that matches students anonymously based on personal life stories and interests. The youth initiative aims to foster the critical relationships that have been absent during the pandemic. Project Amity is unique from other social platforms as it forges genuine friendships leaving positive impressions every time. A key feature of the program is its assortment of crates that serve as the sociable activity during each meetup.

Description: "Safety continues to be one of the highest priorities of the Sequoia Union High School District. While the Board continues to approve Comprehensive School Safety Plans, and while schools continue to practice and maximize safety and preparedness, one additional step the board will consider is sending messages to parents with reminders about the safe and responsible storage of firearms. This resolution states the facts about how firearms obtained from the home have been utilized in accidents and in school shootings, and directs the superintendent to provide information to parents about the critical role and legal requirements of safe firearm storage in the home."

Texas Shooting March
Date: June 2022
Time: 9:00 am to 11:00 am
Location: Courthouse Square
Address: 2200 Broadway, Redwood City, CA 94063
Nineteen children and two adults were killed in a horrifying spree of gun violence at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, on May 24th, 2022 in what is now the second-deadliest school shooting in the United States. In the face of this tragedy, the Senate is stalling in passing universal background checks for gun ownership. Even as the nation cries out for justice, the government fails to act. Hence, it falls to the youth of the future to take up the mantle and push for meaningful change. Change starts with a first step. We call on you to take the first step and stand with us (and other MFOL chapters nationwide) on June 11th for an in-person march in Redwood City!
