About Me

I'm Lucy Lopshire, an avid athlete, writer, and student attending Carlmont High School and writing for Scot Scoop.

Majority of my free time is spent on the soccer field, as the captain of both my school and competitive teams. When I'm not playing soccer, you can find me reading, taking walks, and listening to music.

Journalism has always intrigued me, especially current events because I love knowing what's going on around me. Most of my articles published for Carlmont have focused on both local and global news. I also find it important to discuss topics some may be afraid to mention. Writing is all about voicing your opinion and spreading awareness, which are two things I emphasize between articles.
