Hello friends! We're already in the month of June! I hope that you've like this website and I hope it's been useful. We're going into the summer vacation so there won't be any new entries. However, the website will stay online, in case you want to use it during the vacation.
The last activity that I post will be to create a plan for you to keep moving during summer vacation. Tell your parents the activities which you like to do, whether it's an activity from my website or simply an activity that makes you move. Pick things that you like; you will be more motivated to do them. If you tell your parents what you like to do, they'll be able to help you stay active and to do these activities. What's important to me is that you move. Have a wonderful summer vacation and I miss you all.

Hello friends! Keep going on walks with your parents. It's important to go outside to maintain our health! Keep playing Simon says with your parents and your family to learn the different body parts.
If your parents are okay with it, you can go running for a short distance together. If you have biking trails nearby, you could go with your parents. It can be a walk or a bike ride. Be sure to signal people in front of you who haven't seen you yet if you're on a bike, and to respect social distancing.
As usual, keep up your yoga routines. Here is the new video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtOmC3zX5Ys
Have a great week and I miss you all,

The next activity is a bit different. Try it if you want to! It's laughter yoga and it's really funny and energizing. It would be great if we could all laugh more :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alTNL9TjtCw

Hello friends! Keep going on walks with your parents. It's important to go outside to maintain your health! Play "Simon says" with your parents and your family a few times this week to learn what the different parts of your body are.
Another fun activity is "I spy with my little eye". However, for each incorrect guess, you have to do a jumping jack, pushup (on your knees if you want to) or situp.
As usual, keep up your yoga routines. Here is the new video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5m51lnyrQTo. However, when the video tells you to roll your neck at 2:28, do so very, very slowly. This is to protect your neck.
Have a great week and I miss you all,

Hello friends! Keep up your walks with your parents. The governments is recommending that we go outside to help our mental and physical health. Before you leave, have a discussion with your parents about how you could make a walk more interesting. Tell them what you would like to do and work together to make it happen, if it's realistic. How can you make this walk more interesting?
As usual, keep doing yoga. Here is the new video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfNELJ3WF8M

ry to go for at least 2 walks in your neighborhood this week. Talk to your parents to make sure you have a good route figured out, that's in line with our department of health's guidelines. Go on your walks with your parents.
During your walk, stop somewhere. Jump around a bit to get warmed up; short jumps, long jumps. Once you're warmed up, try jumping as far as you can. Try to beat your record five times. If you beat your record, your new distance jumped becomes the length that you try to overcome. Try different types of jumps; one legged, two legged, standing, while running, etc.
Do this yoga routine two or three times this week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQEPRDvSoCU. If you like this routine or you want to try another one, go check out the Youtube channel MINI YOGA for other routines.
Bonne semaine :)

Your parent is going to move up a certain distance and they will count how long it took for you to get to them. Try to beat your record five times. Hello friends! I've received a few of your assignments from your teachers and they're fantastic! You can keep doing some family stretching or you can imitate this yoga video that's giraffe themed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmyZOlhhh8A If you choose this video, be careful when the video asks you to do neck rotations at 2:10. Do them slowly to ensure neck safety.
On a nice sunny day. go for a walk with your family, but you have to stay in one of your family member's shadow. I like to imagine that the whole world is made of LEGO and that surfaces are made of lava. It's only in your family member's shadow that you're safe! What do you notice when you change directions or turn around to go back home? While on the walk, talk about how a walk now is different from a walk before COVID 19.
Find a chance to run, with your parents' permission. We have to make our heart pump more blood, so we need to move fast! Make sure you have a safe space to run. This can be indoors or outdoors.
Have a great week! I miss you all!

Hi friends! You're now in an alternate environment for physical education, since you're no longer in my gym! We have to make sure that you're safe while you're moving and that there isn't anything dangerous around you. Review these questions with your parents, so that you know that you have a safe place to move;
Which room would be best to use, that will allow me to move around?
If there isn't a room that I can move around in, is there a nearby spot in the neighborhood or my backyard that's available?
Are there any breakable objects or things that could fall in the space we picked? If there are, where should we move them when we want to use the space to move?
Are there any other dangers or things to consider before I use this space to move?
Since you have a good spot to move, it's time to do some stretching with your family. Go get them! Taking turns, each participant chooses a stretch and holds it for twenty seconds. Everyone copies this stretch. After that, the next person picks a stretch. Repeat those steps for ten minutes. Can your parents, brothers or sisters teach you new stretches? You can listen to music if you want. Here's one of my favorite instrumental playlists https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_TSdAqFFrY .
