Step 1: Decide how you wish to prioritise how you view your inbox.
Step 2: Create a new label with the name of your highest priority inbox.
Step 3: Search for emails directed to you.
Select an email from a colleague.
Click on the three dots > Select 'Filter messages Like these'
Step 4: Add more detailsÂ
Add your email address in the 'to' field.
Select 'Create Filter'
Step 5: Apply the label
Choose your label from the drop-down menu
Apply the label to similar messages.
Step 6: Open all settings:
Go to to the settings cog > 'See all settings'
Step 7: Within all settings:
Go to to the 'Inbox type' drop-down menu
Change from 'default' to 'multiple inboxes'
Step 8: Add search query and inbox name:
Section 1 should be the highest priority.
Add inbox name "SFS TO ME", for example.
Search query needs to be written precisely - see next step.
Step 9: Search for a label:
Label text must be written precisely.
Use the search bar to find the exact format and copy this.
Note: it is usually all lowercase with dashes instaed of spaces
Step 10: Save changes
Scroll down and save changes
Return to your inbox to check if the process was successful.
