Reflection from Students

“It's a cool connection between the students, history and physically seeing this. It is especially cool on a personal level for me, I have actually lived in Germany. I’ve seen the Nuremberg Marching Grounds. It’s really weird to see that like completely empty and has a really cool image in my head of these people flooding this entire area. I think it is a really cool to teach and to show how these people were so susceptible to this film that they made that was - a propaganda film.”

"The problem with students nowadays is that we see historical figures kinda like figures in text book. This brought not only Hitler’s character to life but it also brought a connection between the student and history and it made the events more relatable, understandable and it connects to the events that happen today, for example, we were talking about Nuremberg Rally and how that affected us and whether that influenced us today and we said, “Yes”."

"So this new way of teaching history through technology has really opened up a new experience and I feel that it has made it more real and we don’t have to imagine, that students don’t have to imagine what it was like in the past but just be able to experience it fully and directly."
