Gender equality is a big problem globally. A long time ago, men were much more respected than women and had much more privileges. Since then, women are now a big part of the world, yet still in many places, gender equality is a big issue.
Gender equality is also a sustainable goal. According to The United Nations (which the sustainable goals was founded) says that "The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) define the world we want. They apply to all nations and mean, quite simply, to ensure that no one is left behind."
