CAS Supervisors

role of CAS Supervisors:

Support and vouch for the student
Help the student during the activity and makes sure that the student is safe during the activity
Judge if the student is invested in the experience and is an active participant
Review students' ManageBac portfolio at the end of their experience, specifically;
- Reflections (minimum of three, addressing learning objectives)
- Evidence (different types of evidence)
- Write comments approving their work:

All supervisors must be contacted formally before the students put them into the documentation on ManageBac.

If you have not agreed to be a supervisor and your name has been put in then please inform Ms. Lee (CAS Coordinator)

If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Lee

If you feel that your CAS supervisee does not have sufficient reflection, please direct them to complete CAS questions on ManageBac, then re-submit a supervisor review.

This is to ensure that students do not: Retroactively edit their reflections and jeopardise the authenticity of them Get a “free” check from supervisors
