At Sensorfact, we aim to reduce as much industrial waste as possible. To achieve that, we need to optimize for both business impact as well as technological sustainability. Sometimes, these are at odds with each-other. If we’re only building MVP’s it becomes extremely hard to scale and to meet our mission!
This is why we are organizing ourselves in value stream teams. This allows us to combine the vertical expertise of all domains (IoT, Platform and Data) with the vertical understanding of the customer need and business impact (Product Managers).
You might have already seen an update on this in the newsletter of October, but we made some more steps and formalized the structure quite a bit!

Predictive Maintenance
After a few months of hard work, sweat and tears, we have made our deadline and formally launched the PdM product on the 12th of January! Thank you all for being there, it was truly amazing to see your support.
The upcoming period, our focus will be to:
Enable sales to put the PdM product in the market
Set-up simple onboarding and consulting processes
Add some key strategic features to the application
Implementation & Recurring Value
A big accomplishment for the I&RV team; we are now able to detect whether a machine is stand-by / on / off, in real time! Imagine that customers will receive a Whatsapp message if they leave the building and forgot to turn-off a machine. We now have the technology to make this possible.
This is a big milestone that is facilitated by the team that pushed hard (and is continuing to do so) to move our data towards a streaming architecture. The need for this architecture is two-fold. It enables cool features like mentioned above (for all sensors), and it also makes sure that we can actually facilitate the growth that we are currently experiencing!
