Curriculum Corner

While we utilize and follow California Department of Education (CDE) approved curriculum, we have made some changes to our supplemental curriculum.

One major shift comes to our math curriculum. This summer, our teachers received weekly support during their Professional Learning Community (PLC) to learn about Illustrative Math which we will be using along with IXL for independent practice. This will allow us to target growth in mathematics.

We are also continuing to use Common Lit as a way to adapt lessons in English Language Arts (ELA), Additionally, we use online supplementary programs like Lexia and No Red Ink for students to work on their independent literacy and writing skills.

For science and Social Studies, we are adapting lessons from Discovery Education.
