1st Grade: Careers
MSEM - 1st graders heard from a variety of "Community Heroes" and selected a career path to further study, explore, and present.
3rd Grade Endangered Species Books
MSEEC - 3rd Graders research and created models of endangered species in Science, and wrote informational texts about their species in ELA.
Geometry: Designing and Using Clinographs
MSEC - 10th grade students designed their own Clinographs, and then utilized them to measured the height of the flagpole in order to hang the school flag.
1st Grade Weather Stations and Journals
MSEEC - 1st Graders designed a class weather station in Science, after reading a variety of weather books in ELA.
Conserving National Parks
MSEM - Students created 3-D models in Science, persuasive advertisements in ELA, and geographical summaries in Social Students about a National Park of their choice.
Game On! Shark Tank Video Game Design
MSEM - 5th graders coded their own video games for the younger students to play at the Expo in Science/CS. In ELA, students designed a "Shark Tank" style presentation to pitch their games to the class.

MSEC - Geometry students designed and 3-D modeled ADA compliant ramps
8th Grade ELA: Omnivore's Dilemma (Organic vs. Conventional Hydroponics)
MSEC - After reading Omnivore's Dilemma, ELA students grew plants using hydroponic systems, comparing conventional and organic methods.
